SUMMARY:Support Literacy - BBQ Wars
DESCRIPTION:Support Literacy by attending the 3rd Annual BBQ Wars North vs South in Sacramento\, CA. \nA percentage of the proceeds will go towards Escape Velocity Resources Literacy Programs: Boys in the Hood and Around the Way Girls Book Clubs. The youth will be at the Welcome booth with information on our programs. This is one of the fundraisers for the year. \nOur literacy programs are for Black Boys and Girls ages 7 to 13 years old. Our goal is to increase reading proficiency\, to disrupt the school to prison pipeline and to invoke a love of reading. It’s a beautiful thing when folks use their platform and sphere of influence to support the programs in their communities. \nEntry is free but there will be food and vendors selling their products. \nThe goal for this event is to bridge the gap between the community\, business\, and resources. While enjoying entertainment\, food and fun!\n\nSocial Distancing and Mask Required. There will be plenty of sanitized seating.\n\nEvent Flyer:
