TEAM UP FOR CHANGE: THE HUDDLE APPLICATION

The Sacramento Kings, in partnership with the Milwaukee Bucks, Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx, Indiana Pacers and Fever, Dallas Mavericks and Wings, Cleveland Cavaliers, Utah Jazz, Orlando Magic, LA Clippers and San Antonio Spurs are hosting the fourth installment of “Team Up for Change” around a shared commitment and call for racial equality and social justice. Through interactive and educational programming, the thirteen teams will focus on building with their respective communities and highlight the experience of young people through various programmatic elements that lift their voices.
This year, one high school senior, who has demonstrated a dedication to serving the community, will join Sacramento Kings guard Tyrese Haliburton for The Huddle and share their story and commitment to social justice in Sacramento. The Huddle is a unique experience for a young person to interact with NBA and WNBA athletes and/or coaches around topics related to social justice.
Complete the application by January 7, 2022 by 5:00pm to apply.
HOW TO APPLY:
1) Complete the application form http://kings.com/thehuddle
2) Submit two (2) letters of reference.
3) Record a :60 video submission.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW:
* The application deadline is January 7, 2022.
* In-person/virtual interviews will be conducted the week of January 10, 2022.
* For video submission: please use the highest quality recording equipment available. For best results, place your recording device on a stationary object, such as a tripod or table. Prior to recording, test that you are in focus and well-lit and your video is free from distracting background noise.
