Sacramento Fire Department offers free ‘Fire Camp’ for girls Oct. 8-9, 2022 from 8am-5pm.
Designed for teens grades 9 through 12, the two-day event at the Sacramento Fire Academy in McClellan Park 2409 Dean St., McClellan, CA 95652 is led by professional women firefighters and is free to attend.
Campers will be introduced to firefighting skills such as search and rescue, first-aid CPR and hose and fire stream management. The camp also offers leadership training and team-building activities.
Breakfast, lunch and a camp T-shirt will be provided at the event.
Early registration is recommended as space is limited.
