Don’t wait around for Election Day. Vote Early.
All voters are encouraged to vote the ballot mailed to them. You can mail it back (if postmarked on or before Election Day) or drop it off at any Ballot Drop Box or Vote Center; no postage necessary.
- Ballot Drop Box: Voted ballots may be placed in any of the secured Ballot Drop Box locations throughout California.
- Vote Center: Some Vote Centers are open now and including Election Day! Voters can visit ANY of their County Vote Centers to drop off completed ballots OR they can vote in person. Vote Centers provide accessible voting devices, language assistance, and offer eligible residents the ability to register to vote and update their registration.
Track Your Ballot: Sign up for “Where’s My Ballot” with Ballottrax, a free ballot tracking and alert system for voters who wish to know the status of their ballot. Visit www.california.ballottrax.net/voter.
Same Day Registration available. Voters can “conditionally” register and vote a provisional ballot during this time May 24 – June 7, 2022.
Election Day – Polls shall be open throughout the state from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on June 7, 2022
