We believe it is through them that generational trauma can be broken and will be the catalyst for changing the trajectory to a course that is more desirable for African-Americans. The Escape Velocity / Sojo Museum SacTownYouthNights will be a catalyst for youth ages 12 to 24 and their families to have a safe space to hang out on 1st and 3rd Friday nights from 6pm-9pm at Florin Square while enjoying a wide range of exciting activities in a positive environment.

Youth will have an opportunity to network and get to know each other, all while engaging in fun filled activities. Each event will have FREE food, games, entertainment, literacy, art and activities for the youth and their families. All are welcome!!

Youth ages 7-19

Youth will learn how to start a business, plan for success, and more. Lunch will be provided. Small start-up mini grants will be provided to a select group of young entrepreneurs. Workshops, networking, giveaways and more. Meet 17-year old DJ TLDSTR of 97.5 Full Circle, Yisrael Family Urban Farm, Vibe Tribe Sac, and more.
