Self-Care Skate Night was Lit!!

The Around the Way Girls Book Club and Boys in the Hood Book Club had a fun night of skating at Foothill Skate Inn on Friday, 12/10/21 to end their youth pop-up sessions Mind, Body & Literacy. They each received a self-care box with lots of goodies. They had two virtual pop-ups on 11/19 and 12/3 to learn about healthy relationships, consent, meditation, writing prompts, and more. With the awareness and prevention learning they also played games and won prizes. We look forward to doing this again next year!
