BNTH (Boys in the Hood) Book Club meeting is this Friday, January 11, 2019 from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. Location is Sojo Museum 2251 Florin Road, Sacramento, CA 95822.
We will be discussing Thurgood Marshall as the January book selection.
Book Club Membership Application forms will be available for the parents/guardians to complete for new or returning participants. This will help us track participation.

Typically before dinner is served the young kings are able to debrief about their experiences since our last meet up with one of our men who volunteer their time. The space created is emotionally safe, so they tend to speak on topics such as bullying, not feeling adequate and wanting to be heard. After they exhale, they have dinner and we escape into our stories whom always have reflections and images that look like them. For more information please don’t hesitate to reach out.
