Mission JOY: Finding Happiness In Troubled Times

Lunch at the Library provides free, healthy meals to kids 18 years old and under when school is out. Starting June 14 through August 5, meals will be distributed at 13 library locations Tuesdays through Fridays from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. Meals are offered for youth 18 and under who are physically present and lunch must be consumed on site. No registration or Eligibility documentation required, drop ins welcome.

The event will have a plethora of informative workshops throughout the day led by professionals, more than 20 vendors with resources for the small business owner and for the future entrepreneur. A jazz socializing mixer will take place at the end of the event including a raffle and networking.

Discount tickets are $50 until June 30th ($75 after). Lite lunch provided. Tickets available at Eventbrite or www.fscdc.org.

This year, we are awarding our first Dana Maeshia Small Business Mini-Grant to one business owner who attends this event. Please see the application form below for more information.

7th -12th graders will partner with SMUD, The Sacramento Police Department, The Sheriff Department, Sacramento State University, and American River College to experience the many change-making opportunities they can engage in.
This program is absolutely free and will meet every Monday and Wednesday from 10am -2pm beginning in July.
