We want to give a big Thank You to Patsy Coleman. She volunteered for Escape Velocity from July 2022 – November 2022. It was a short time but she made a big impact. She helped as one of the adult leads for Around the Way Girls Book Club and was the Fundraising Coordinator. We appreciate all of her help and kindness. We’d be blessed to have her volunteer again in the future.

The Escape Velocity / Sojo Museum #SacTownYouthNights is a catalyst for youth and their families to have a safe space to hang out on 1st and 3rd Friday nights from 6pm-9pm at Florin Square, 2251 Florin Rd, Sacramento, CA 95822, while enjoying a wide range of exciting activities in a positive environment.
Youth will have an opportunity to network and get to know each other, all while engaging in fun filled activities. Each event will have FREE food, games, workshops, entertainment, resources, literacy, art and activities for the youth and their families and more. All are welcome!!Â
Please bring the youth out to enjoy some FREE family fun.Â
11/16 – Melanin Day Scholars Showcase & Kwanzaa – We are featuring and collaborating with Melanin Day School. They are hosting their annual Gala and performing their showcase for us at 6:30pm. Come out and support the youth. We are also providing Information, gifts and more about Kwanzaa. Plus the famous 360 Photo Booth with Fun Friends Entertainment.
