Escape Velocity Resources Foundation is excited to be participating in #GivingTuesday!
#GivingTuesday is a day dedicated to generosity and giving. It occurs the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday. It’s a day to acknowledge the power of giving, volunteerism, and simple acts of kindness.
The year 2020 has proven to be one of unprecedented change around the world. Change that has deeply impacted our lives, communities and the beneficiaries we serve. Our commitment to the youth of Sacramento must not waiver.
We are very proud of the work we have done so far with Boys In The Hood Book Club, Around The Way Girl’s Book Club and the T.E.A. Sessions (Talk, Empower and Actualize). This year we delved deeper into mental health, work readiness, self advocacy and abuse. While we are looking forward to the future, building capacity and expanding our reach, we know that none of what we do would be possible without those who give.
